CAREFUL!! You'll lye on it.

The alarm rang and i decided snooze a very little bit before getting up, and that was it, next thing i found myself jumping off the bed rushing off to get out for work ...OMG!! how did i do this to myself?? I barely put my makeup on, before heading out the door without even laying my bed, i had to be in the office to pick somethings and catch up with a meeting on the island. well the rush paid off and i made it in time for the meeting that was delayed by thirty minutes, after which we headed out of town for a site appraisal meeting.The ride to the site was a long journey, well we eventually got there and did the needful and embarked on the journey back by the time i got to the office it was so late i barely scribbled a report down, picked up my bags and hit the road. only to get into one of those spiritual traffic situation of Lagos for which there is no cause.

Looking at my wristwatch, it was 10:10pm just as i slot my key into the door to make my way into the house. Just then PHCN ceases power, couldn't get any worse i thought. Quickly i prepared myself for a restful night. As i hit the sack, i felt the dampness from the wet towel i left earlier in the day, on turning to pull it out i felt the prick of the hair pin i pulled off too, then the stack of books by my bedside i didnt want to topple over... and boy was i tired to get up, more so phones were dead and i could barely see.

Lying uncomfortably in my bed and drifting off to sleep, i realised never more true is the saying "AS YOU LAY YOUR BED, SO YOU LYE ON IT".

One little seed sown in the morning and by evening its fruit i'm reaping and the taste i dont like. its's impossible to plant beans and harvest corn. Let's be careful with the seeds (actions) we sow, weather in anger or in laughter. However, its never too late to start sowing good seeds.
