NIGHT LIGHTS!!**

Hannah, administrative assistant of the little organization in the industrial hub of the big city, found herself immersed in the responsibility of two people with the transfer of her colleague. She quickly adjusted to the immense pressure of working for two, an adjustment she managed effectively until today. She sensed she was threading at a tipping point and the files and receipts that came to her desk by 2pm put the final weight for the collapse. In the typical dutiful manner she was accustomed to, she squeezed the residual strength she had and swung into swift action, ensuring the tasks and her entries were in order. By the time she lifted her head from the computer,

YOU & I

Image
In my thoughts, its your tender care i see, when i smile, i know you first smiled at me. when i sing, it will be of your love. and when i fell at anothers' knees, i knew i was better at your feet. In my weakness, i feel your strength when i am down, you raise me up when i am lost to the world around, i will be found in your presence. in my darkness, you gave me light And when our love is over here, i know we started our song forever

The Scent of CHRISTMAS

In the beginning was the word, And the word was with God, Then there came the time for fufilment, The word in flesh, Oh this was the moment. The medium, a young betrothed virgin; He who would come to devour sin, Was to be sired only by God’s spirit, In his body the seed of sin could not fit. In the fullness and exactness of time, It was almost like you could hear the bells chime, There was born a little baby called Jesus, Just in time to free us from sin’s curse. His birthplace; no hospital, just a manger, Exposed to germs, fleas and every kind of danger, The son of a poor and lowly carpenter, For his needs as an infant, he would have to cater. We like sheep, had gone astray, For our debts of sin he had come to pay, Look at that hand, so weak and frail, Who would have known it would carry a nail. His birth with it carried a purpose, One that was fulfilled at the moment he rose, The day the stone from the grave was rolled, He gave us a song: “Joy to the World

Something about Life

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it.” ― Mother Teresa

NUGGET for Today

Each of us can work to change a small portion of events. And it's in the total of all those acts that the history of this generation will be written . --Robert Kennedy (in Inspiring a Life of Immersion )

WARDROBE AND STYLE

I opened my wardrobe and it was really a struggle to get what to wear, this didn’t go with that and this was not appropriate for the occasion….and all that wardrobe crisis. Then it hit me that I needed to audit my wardrobe… some of my clothes had lost fit, many I had not worn, somehow I was able to get something to wear before I was late to work for that day. Fashion wahala….. Thank God Saturday was around the corner so I called a fashionista friend of mine who obliged my request to come give me a helping hand on Saturday. She came quite early and we started the process she established some facts like: my colours based on my complexion                                                       ...

Today is our present position in the light of what we have experienced and the decisions we have made. The smiles from our achievements and the tears from yesterday’s losses have shaped us into the existing personality we are today.
